Lutheran Women Today BIBLE STUDY Mark 8:1-9:50
To Follow and To Serve: The Gospel of Mark Theme Verse: “I believe; help my unbelief!” Mark 9:24 In this session, Mark presents a number of stories that have shaped the lives of the Christian community for 20 centuries. We are now at the mid-point of reading the Gospel of Mark. The story is no longer just about others; it is now directed at us, too.
President's Message:
I hope everyone enjoyed themselves at our Annual Christmas Tea, I know I did! The tables were absolutely beautiful and Jacobson Hall was stunning!! I am so very thankful to EVERYONE who made this event possible. A special thank you to Francis & Carol Sullivan, (our amazing elves) Sandy Terstegen, (our poet) Janet McQuillan, (our professional MC) Sharon Rowley (our eloquent devotion leader) The Chordsmen (our entertainment was WONDERFUL) Sue Hays (our clean-up crew) and our awesome men of Good Shepherd. The day was the perfect beginning to the Christmas Season, Glory be to God!

Thank you to all who purchased raffle tickets for the lovely crocheted afghan that Dorothy and Jackie Miller donated. We raised $132.00 in ticket sales! We collected $315.00 in our free-will offering. This money will be given the Youth Group for their trip to New Orleans in the summer of 2012! Thank you for your generosity!
We would like to thank Christina Wise for manning the raffle ticket table and thank you to Kersani Wise and her group for entertaining us during the viewing.
